Hitradio Ö3 has refreshed its station sound and launched a new custom jingle package by Wisebuddah.
The state broadcaster ORF’s youth format radio station and is now airing 25 custom idents which reflect developments in chart music over the last 2 years.
The move means a return to Wisebuddah for the fourth time, following an initial package in 2019, a full rebrand in 2021 and a news suite of orchestral elements also completed in 2021.
Heinz Donaubauer, Head of Production, Hitradio Ö3: “We’re very happy with the new package – the team at Wisebuddah did a great job of understanding and meeting our specific needs for the station and not all jingle producers have the ability to meet our requirements with that level of detail.
“We changed the structure of the cuts this time using a different logo at the beginning and end of the cuts. We moved to a two logo package, which has given us lots of flexibility to adapt and use the elements of the station sound. For example, with the ramp mixes we have a range of ways to use each jingle on air, which is invaluable.
“In terms of the sound of the package, it’s a nice development since the previous full station sound package we did with Wisebuddah in 2021 and reflects the evolution of music over the last couple of years. We have also looked ahead at what might sound cool in the future so the package should last for years to come.”
