Wisebuddah has produced the brand-new jingle package for The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, celebrating the collective voice of listeners across the UK.
Commissioned in partnership with the BBC Popular Music Station Sound Team, the project was recorded at Metropolis Studios in London and features the acclaimed House Gospel Choir. Their harmonies and dynamic performance capture the show’s themes of unity, joy and connection, alongside a team of live musicians including brass, drums and two lead vocalists.
The package, which includes over 175 mixouts, was designed to reflect the shared experience of waking up with Scott each morning, blending uplifting choir vocals with the familiar warmth of Radio 2’s sound.
Wisebuddah Managing Director Phil Tozer said: “The beauty of radio is its ability to unite people, and this jingle package embodies that collective spirit. Everyone involved has created something special – the sound of a nation, all in tune, sharing a moment with Scott every morning.”
Scott Mills said ahead of the show’s launch: “It’s your voice, your stories, and your life that’s going to make this show into something that I really hope you come to adore.”
The production also included new show packages for Trevor Nelson, DJ Spoony, and Kitchen Disco, extending Wisebuddah’s sound across more of BBC Radio 2’s output.
