WANTED - BBC Radio 5 Live 2006-2015 and BBC Local Radio packages 2009-2015
  • JinglefiedJinglefied October 5
    Hi all,
Finally managed to get on here for a bit of help.

Does anyone have any of 5 Live packages from 2006 to 2015, or BBC Local Radio from 2009 to 2015 by any chance? I have been trying to get hold of these for a while but had no luck in doing so.
If so, please could anyone upload any?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I used to Love BBC Local Radio...I thought it was one of the better stations! :-)
    What ever happened to it?

I’m with you, I used to love BBC Local Radio with the Mcasso jingles, but now it’s sounds a bit less Local Radio in a way. Bring them back I say!
  • I loved BBC local radio when each managing editor could order the jingles they wanted from wherever they wanted! Alex Trelinski (The then Managing Editor at BBC Radio Derby) ordered these resings from TM in 1992ish. I'm sure someone will know the history, but I remember him telling me they were resings of a station in Boston (US).

Loved them at the time and I still think they sound amazing - I only had poor quality copies of these recorded in the studio on a TDK90, but a HUGE thanks to a fellow Jinglemadder (Mark H) for sharing the package a few years ago.
