This is a soundboard of airchecks created by ex Radio Hallam presenter, Frank Carpenter.
There are some wonderful reminders of the early days of Hallam

Excellent. Thanks for posting the link, Mark.

How embarrassing with the first record on air skipping?!

Hey Mark, thanks for the blast from the past, really enjoyed hearing the voices of my youth again. I got to know Jean Doyle quite well, first through my sister who worked at the city's Northern General hospital, and then through my constant visits to the Hallam hartshead studios (hallam blaring out in the lift...brilliant stuff!), Jean she was a lovely, lovely woman.

Another fav was Johnny Moran, is he still with us?.

Thanks Mark for the wonderful memories, I was young and stupid back then, now of course, I'm old and stupid!
