Just a quick message to echo everyone else comments - this is very sad news.

Brian was one of the voiceover greats and he will be truely missed.

Apart from the Pepsi Network Chart Show, I especially remember him as the voice of Aire FM in mid 90's when he provided the voice to this fantastic Top Of Hour:

Very very sad news! Brian was my email buddy and we talked a lot on Jingles and Game shows. He even thought that announcing one in the USA was pretty cool!

Rest in peece BJ. You will be missed by everyone here and we will miss you.

Just out off topic guys do you think I can fill Brian Jame's shoos?

Very sad news indeed. One of the greats and my personal favourite. A sound like no other.

Rest in peace Brian.

It's really is sad to hear news like this. Brian was way too young to be taken from us so soon. Condolences to his family and his many friends both in and out of radio.

Gutted to hear this news, his voice was so distictive and one of a kind.

This is one of my favourite Brian James demos of all time. From his own web site.

This is really sad news. I was a big fan of Brian's work in the 1990s when his voice provided some very powerful imaging for many of the UK stations that I listened to regularly, nanely 96.3 Aire FM, Key 103, Minster FM and BRMB.

I especially loved the stuff on Minster FM in the late 1990s, "from Yorkshire's Capital City" - it really gave the station a big sound.

RIP Brian

A sad loss of a very talented guy indeed, condolences to his friends and family.

We hear the playback and it seems so long ago.
And you remember the jingles used to go...."

I had the great pleasure to work with Brain James on more than few occasions, even this guy was one of the biggest voices in the world, nothing was too much trouble for Brain.

Brain you may have gone but your voice will live on

RIP
